Hurricane Katrina did so much permanent damage in New Orleans that, some of it may never be repaired. This photo essay of the remains of the New Orleans Six Flags is so haunting, that it feels like the set of a horror movie waiting to be filmed. Some of the photos are almost surreal.

did anyone here ever see the article in Weird NJ about the long gong Jungle Habitat amusement park? They shut down one day and just never re-opened. Nature took it back Im sure all the pics are still online. Does Weird NJ still exist?
Went on a road trip about 4 years ago, stopped in New Orleans for the night, went to some strip clubs, saw an older woman shitting on the side of Bourbon Street, talked to her while shitting, but the point of the story is. The hotel we stayed at had a shit ton of water damage on the first floor walls about 5 feet up.

Looks just like I remember it. Except there arent as many black folks lurking and waiting to steal your wallet.
If we slowly move the camera and hope for wind, it'll be more dramatic. It looks like Coney Island on a good day.
