Local Police in the Tampa area arrested ten year old Daryl Pitts and charged him with a felony for what may later come to be known as “The Great Bike Heist.” Not since Pee-Wee Herman  has this much attention been paid to a bicycle disappearance.

Police caught master criminal Daryl Pitts when he returned to the scene to retrieve his own tricycle which he had left behind during the caper. Daryl has been released to the custody of his step mother.

The bike was more likely to be recovered in the basement of the Alamo, than in a basement in a Florida home.
