12 Year Old With No Experience Runs Half Marathon By Accident

Twelve year old LeeAdianez Rodriguez showed up to run the Wegman’s Family 5K in Rochester, arrived late, and just joined a group of runners. Four miles in she asked how long the race was and someone told her about 12 miles. That’s when she realized she wasn’t at the Wegman’s 5k at all, she had actually joined the Flower City Half Marathon. She decided to just keep running, untrained, and finished 1885 of 2111 runners. She finished that race and most people can’t even last 2 weeks on a new years resolution.
